Our for and against has a lot to do with attitude, let’s hope that issue is changing real soon…our for and against shows where we really are
and post his own new thread if anyone can post it, then he gets told he already posted the foxsports rehash of the articleOnly if the Telegraph publish it first.. Then he'll start a new thread on it..
Wild view of things, fans seemingly losing the plot now scraping the bottom of the barrel - you could also argue the ones we could have won…. The Roosters loss by 1pt immediately comes to mind, if Burton doesn’t go wide from play 1 40m out, we get ourselves a clean shot at the win…. Also, we ran a last second play deemed “forward” involving Avo who would have gone the distance untouched.Let’s be honest. We have won 7 games this year, but we could very easily have only won 1 or 2 and be dead last.
Beat Tigers by 4 points, 4 tries each.
Beat cows by 1 point, a last second JAC try to level up.
Beat Dragons by 2 points, 3 tries each.
Beat Titans by 2 points, having trailed 18-0 and scoring 2 tries directly off Burton Bombs, and Okunbor last minute try after a few deflected passes.
Beat South’s by 4 points, they missed 10 players due to origin/injury. Almost lost that game.
Beat Dolphins by 1 point, Isaako Missed conversion otherwise they would’ve won.
Some of our own fans need a change in attitude too - I’m all for criticism wherever due but this thread takes the Fkn cakeOur for and against has a lot to do with attitude, let’s hope that issue is changing real soon…
And really that's what I'm hoping next year. Get our defence in order and the fitness to go with it. Jag a few wins by just defending well and scoring enough to grab the points. Don't care if it's 6-4 win, it's all 2 points on the table. Confidence will build as we get a few of those up our sleeves. For me that's the best outcome next year. You can build a good team just off a good defence. What about all the games we lost but could've one? If you did one way to might as well do the other.
Also I remember in 2006, Melbourne Storm won most of their games by small margins as they were focusing on defense.
It's not all one-way traffic like you're making it seem mate.
We also lost some games early on with shit calls (warriors winning off an obstruction plan for example) and unfair binnings contributing to the losses. If we'd won those we might have grown in confidence and been on the fringe of the 8.Let’s be honest. We have won 7 games this year, but we could very easily have only won 1 or 2 and be dead last.

Yep , bit like the dolphins when the we’re going great guns ,problem is that when you don’t have depth these things will happen, the only difference between us and the dolphins they signed experience players .We started the season 3/5. Could've easily been 4/5 if we had beaten the Warriors. Our season imploded in round 6 when we lost Kiks and picked up all sorts of injuries to our players. If anything, we've been lucky not to get a chance to build on momentum.
Agree - no depth and always going to fizzle out imo. Dolphins are a protected species being new to the comp - over exceeded in the eyes of many - harsh reality is they’ve won 2 of their last 12 games…Yep , bit like the dolphins when the we’re going great guns ,problem is that when you don’t have depth these things will happen, the only difference between us and the dolphins they signed experience players .
Repeat hahahaa !!It doesn’t matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning’s winning.
Could also go the other way based on your reasoning.Let’s be honest. We have won 7 games this year, but we could very easily have only won 1 or 2 and be dead last.

TBF, there weren't many of those this year.do we get to count unlucky/close losses
You're right, there weren't many. The Warriors in round 4 with what should have been a blatant obstruction late in the game that gave them the match winning try and the 1 point loss to The Roosters are the two games that stand out.TBF, there weren't many of those this year.
