Boston made it to the ECF without their best 2 players. Remarkable achievment.

They had a really, really easy road though.

Bucks with a dysfunctional team and a care taker coach - pushed 'em to 7. 6ers with a rookie as their best player who can't shoot and are playoff virgins - Stevens beat them on experience alone.

It is still a great achievement though and what's more important is it gives Ainge more assets to trade if he wants to try and bring in another superstar next season - Rozier was basically a nobody before this playoff run and now he's worthy of a sign and trade.

brad stevens out coached the 76ers easily all his plays at crucial times were crisp and effective and the opposite for 76ers cant remember how many times they had a play that ended up in embiids hands and he throw a lazy pass for a turnover or it went out

Agree, 6ers gave up so many leads. 22 points in game 2, they were up by 6 in the 4th in game 5 and gave that up.

Just all comes down to Simmons not being able to shoot. So important in playoffs when the game slows down and becomes a half court game.

everyone knows simmons cant shoot but for a sharpshooter like reddick to miss a wide open 3 is what done it in the end. wonder if they would draft tatum now instead of fultz if they had the chance over lol

Redick is just used to shooting down hill when the teams playing high pace, Boston turned it into a half court game so was more difficult for 6ers to hit shots even when they were wide open 3's. When you stifle your main ball handler and put him in a position to make decisions other then penetrating to the rim it has a trickle down effect on the rest of the team hence other guys not getting off. This was the way to stop Lebron at the beginning of his career before he improved his shot.

Exactly, Fultz was a bad pick overall but thats with hindsight. Tatum, Mitchell, maybe even kuzma would have been a better fit for the team, but I guess they wanted fultz to be the tradition point guard and use Simmons as a forward? Either way if the Lebron move happens Im sure Fultz will be a valuable trade piece for a backup guard.

Watching the Rockets is ugh. Dribble dribble dribible dribble...................dribble dribble dribble step back(travel) three, lay up, lob or kick it out for three. Rinse and repeat.

Or change it up and dribble for 23 seconds and pass it to a role player who has 1 second to jack up a three lol.

I hope we have a couple of close games. The last two were a yawn.

Harden shrinks in the moment. Up by 3 with a minute to go and they jacking up 3's still - dumb basketball. Was lucky to win, but a wins a win.
