Yeah it has been slow going, the RR is just below 2.5 an over. It's a strange day 1 gabba pitch, really slow although it is starting to quicken up a bit now. With the lower order to come and the pitch getting faster, should see much better scoring tomorrow.

Hmm not sure who i would say is on top, england scored at a pedestrian rate all day but their lower order can bat ok, pretty even or maybe we are slightly in front by having their best batsman back in the sheds late in the day.

Unfortunately I saw very little of yesterday's action... but a slow batting rate is not necessarily an indicator of boring. Test Cricket, to sound lie a wanker, is much more nuanced than that.

oh yeah been watching tests for a long time too, it wast just one of those days, tight bowling, strange slow pitch for the gabba and england obviously just batting to occupy the crease and wear down our 3 quicks.

he should only play state cricket where there are no decent spinners and he can pile on runs without any problem.
