Critta and wilson would be very dangerous
Unless Crichton is injured he's 100% starting the year as our fullback so I don't think it's even worth discussing him as a centre option right now. Kiraz/Xerri look to be our only options right now.

Think it will be
Burto
Kikau
Critta
Fox

Sexy
Preston
Xerri
Kiraz
If Taffe is your FB.

Only person making metres off returns is Kiraz.

Expect us not to get many metres in our return set. In turn we'll be stuck down our end of the field against any top 10 team. We wont have the field position or gas in the tank to use to combos those any effect

As Gus said he didn't come here to mow the lawns.

If his competition is Burns & EQW in the pre-season I expect Xerri to start.
Burns isn’t signed for next year so can’t count on him being competition yet. I’d be surprised if Alamoti doesn’t at least get another short term deal with us so he should be in the mix too

Centres usually take 2nd hit up so we’ll be charging up the field with Critta and Bruno Xerri

Taffee makes decent kick return metres.

Not typically. Our wingers/fb usually take 2nd. But regardless. If your first hit up isnt naking metres. And easily taken 2 v1. The D line is set and ready to absorb your second hit up. Our of the back 3. 2 need to be bigger metre eaters

If we’re going to play him at centre why would we move him from right centre. We would be relegated if the kennel managed the lineup.

107.6 average metres a game (109.7 this year). Perham averaged 159.1 metres a game.
That doesn’t show kick return metres though, which is what he said. It’s worth looking further into that detail too

Perham averages almost double the possessions as Taaffe, which is one reason why he has more overall metres per game.

The reason why he has so many more possessions? The dogs structure has the FB taking the 4th tackle hit up out of our own half the majority of the time, setting up for the 5th tackle kick and allowing the FB to stay there as it turns into defence.

That’s where Perham was getting so many more possessions than other FB’s in different structure, and why his average metres is higher than Blake.

You would need to post the average kick return metre stat to accurately compare and prove or dispute @DogsOfWar1704 point
