SOO Referee announced!

Sean Hampstead will be the referee for SOO game 1.

Bit of a bolt from the blue really..I thought Russel Smith would have been a shoe in.

QLD had the casting vote and they gave the nod to Hampstead. Since it was announced about 3 callers have phoned up talk back radio complaining that it is a NSW plan to deny QLD a win.

Here we go again, QLD have a sulk before the game even starts. And if they lose it will be all the fault of Hampstead. Poor form so early QLD

Tim Mander retired with his woo hoo's last year. He told me he was considering a comeback a few weeks back but his fitness levels are well down on NRL standard so he chose to remain retired.

To give him credit Hampstead has improved alot since his last SOO game
