Rum appreciation thread!!

So im working in a bar here in France, and we serve 65 different runs, and about 90 different whiskies. I dont mind whisky, but i love good rum.
So, whats your favourite rum?? I will be sure to taste it if we have it. Or if your curious about a rum and we have it, i cant tell you what i think of it.
Note: We dont serve bundaberg, so dont tell me how much you love that crap. Lol

Bundy is horrible stuff. I grew up thinking that rum was the most disgusting drink 'cause it was all I had. Now I know better.

Personally the Kraken is my favourite. Picked up a ceramic bottle of it while in America but never kracked it open. It's just too beautiful.

Up until this point my favourite rum has been Flor de Caña, a 7 year old rum from Nicaragua, but im discovering some new rums that rival it or better it!!

Haha i might just do that. Im thinking of wearing a kangaroo suit to work too. Im pretty sure all the frenchies will recognise a kangaroo. Lol

Its not quite so simple i have come to learn. There two very different styles of rum. Rum as most aussies know, and then there is agricole. Agricole is made with raw sugar cane juice, and normal rum is made from molasses.....
So all the nice rich chocalatey, malty style rums like say havana club dark or bacardi dark, appleton estate, flor de caña, captain morgan and dare i say it, bundaberg, are nade from molasses.
Agricole is very different!! It is really raw, jarsh even. Even the aged ones. Plus its usually 50% alcvol, sometimes more.
