The Pom’s numbers have been allocated, interestingly they correspond with their playing positions..apart from the players outside the starting 13. Well the assumed starting positions.. Aussies could have done the same, however there is probably a bit more competition for Aussie positions.

The team that got picked for game 1 should've been numbered 1-17 in order for Australia with the rest of the squad taking numbers 18-24.

Be interesting to see how Thommo plays. I think he will be good in attack once the big boys tire, but will struggle defending in the middle

Geeze unless you are someone who has an encyclopaedia knowledge of sport like @Freakzilla that number system can be confusing..especially for people who are fans of Rugby League who are familiar with the numbers and what they represent, but are unsure of some players and their positions..At least many of the Samoan players and positions are known..good luck with teams like Greece, Jamaica or the like…!
