I can't understand Why Averillo and Shoup are not replacing Hoppa and Katoa???? on that Edge this is madness, I know exactly where Bennet will target their attack And that will be the side where their sixty plus points will come from, I know Shoup is not in the squad (but he should be) at least get Averillo to center & even try Wakeham on the wing and where the hell is Matt Doorey & Dietz , I simply can not believe he is not bringing these players in when they all had blinders in the lower grade last week , Cook will run riot around Katoa, we may have more of a chance with Dietz who is a specialist hooker, we really have nothing to loose and lots to gain.Round 4 Team News: Lewis to partner Flanagan in Good Friday clash
The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have named Lachlan Lewis to start in the halves for Good Friday's clash with South Sydney at Stadium Australia (4:00PM AEDT).
Lewis has been rewarded after a strong performance in last week's Mounties victory over Canberra.
With the Bulldogs having eight players out through suspension or injury, the team has been selected from a group of 21 available players.
Suspensions to Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, Luke Thompson and Josh Jackson, in addition to injuries to Ray Faitala-Mariner (12-16 weeks), Jeremy Marshall-King (6-8 weeks), Jayden Okunbor (16 weeks), Christian Crichton (season ending), Ava Seumanufagai (3 weeks) and Jake Averillo (ankle) have created selection headaches for Trent Barrett, although Averillo has been named in the extended squad.
The team changes from last week's match against Brisbane have seen :
- Lewis come into the halves for Averillo for his first NRL match of the season
- Nick Meaney swap places with Corey Allan to start at full back with Allan on the wing
- Sione Katoa come into the starting side as hooker for the injured Marshall-King
- Renouf Atoni move from the bench to replace the suspended Josh Jackson
- Development squad utility Jackson Topine and Dean Britt both named on an extended bench with a final decision on the starting 17 to be made on Thursday.

I hear you mate but if we can't score a point against last years wooden spooners last week does it matter who we throw in against one of the best sides in the NRL. I am happy enough with Lewis in but Hoppa should have been dropped.Tbaz has made a thousand changes and its still difficult to see where the points are going to come from.

The only decent quote on all of this thread.I actually don't mind the team. Napa has been shit, but he showed more last week when he started. I like that Atoni is at lock, we need some size there. Everyone has bashed Hetherington for his lack of metres, but the whole team has struggled in that department, and otherwise I think he has been pretty ok. Meaney was solid last week, and unfortunately Allan is not shining at fb, so give him some time in the team where he is not responsible for being a link man or playmaker. Lewis had a blinder last week. Some of his kicks were bloody fantastic too. He deserves to be promoted.
Waddell and Stimson are the only selections I disagree with. Waddell would be lucky to make the bench imo. And Stimson? Well, he is just average. I can't see him offering any kind of impact off the bench.
Shut up Archie lolThe only decent quote on all of this thread.

No mate that are copping repercussions from their own bad performances.Jake would get slapped at fullback right now... I'm okay with him not playing, I just find it funny both him and Allan are copping it for Flanagan's performances.
