here's every touch of the ball by Rona against the warriors......you see on the screen how long it takes for him to get a touch & that almost every touch is slogging it out of our end

1. WTF did he jump from outside the ingoal to catch the ball when he could ahve just walked backwards, caught it standing and gained 20meters easily...?
2. Why does Morris pass to him so early? Doesn't even attract one defender before he passes it to Rona who's instantly covered by the two defenders who were given plenty of time to shift across.

That video just pissed me off even more. These clowns just seem to get worse every week.

He also doesnt carry the ball enough out of yardage. Say what you want about Sam but he has always got in and helped the forwards every single time, Rona doesnt do that often enough.

Rona wont get service all the time, Its not like he gets the ball and creates loads of opportunities for himself and others, when we create space down the left he will get the ball more and score more. He is very similar to Perret, he will do well when the chances come.

Rona just hasn't had the chances to finish. Our right edge also looks stacked with extra numbers at times, compared to our left edge that looks short at times. Another thing to look at is that chances have been taken on the inside before the ball even gets to him. Moses has already crossed 4 times and Morris 3, compared to Reynolds 1 and Chase/Holland 4.

Another thing with the warriors game is that we spent so much time in our own half, which is generally not where you see wingers finishing.

going over the last 2 games it seems Reynolds is more willing to throw the ball out the backline and he is on the side with Holland & Perret.....Jackson is over there too and also more willing to pass the ball (actually has developed a bad habit of forcing unnecessary offloads)

Where on Morris & Rona's side they have Mbye who seems to favour off loading to the forwards especially his pet play of giving it to Williams who unlike Jackson refuses to pass the ball, often the only time the ball gets spread wide by Mbye is when he throws a loose pass which misses Williams and the ball goes out the back to Morris or Rona

His metres run is the fifth best in the side.(87 runs this year for 725m; about 8 metres per run)

Jimmy is smashing it most metres, most tackles.

Warriors defence is weaker on the other side. The decision to target that instead of Ronas side was a good one. Sure we didnt win, but wouldve lost by more if we didnt. Its not like it happens every game

We won the week before. So the tactic was good then too. What about last year when Rona was the league's top tryscorer? What about the fact he has scored multiplie tries this year? Obviously we use him plenty in other matches. This thread is about 1 match. "Problems" arent caused by 1 match.
