With Ennis now being confirmed as NSW's number 9.

Who would you go with for this Friday's game against the Raiders and why?

More than likely Roberts will be called up, hopefully the knee injury he sustained last week isn't too bad.

The week off for him would have been beneficial.

Its really beyond me why people would move keating to 9 and bring another play to play his role.

Isnt it better to leave the team as is and just make the 1 change to the number 9?

Why does everyone want to put a five-eight as hooker when we have two hookers capable of performing for us? Have either Halatau or Roberts on the bench as a sub hooker but not starting.

no need to play others out of position with romelo being a specialist #9

This

Why make so many changes just to replace a hooker? I think Halatau might possibly start if Moore doesnt have faith in his replacements. I think last year romelo came off the bench for a game or 2 during origin (dont think he started). But in saying that he has played in the 7 the last few weeks. So I think the management knew what was going on so put Reynolds in the 9 to get some game time under his belt in that position.

I think it will be a flip of the coin for the replacement hooker (I would think Halatau would start) between Reynolds and Romelo. Both have been good and both deserve a shot. Neither will let the team down. Flip a coin I guess. Head Romelo Tails Reynolds :p That would give as good an indication as anything as to who gets the start.

I would go with Romelo. He and Halatau will probably interchange with each other, Roberts a possibility on the bench.

I just got given some massive rumour type news about Joel Romelo ... Wanna confirm it through another source before I say what it is cuz y'all gonna think I'm trollin.

Dont worry - It's good news.
And it's got nothing to do with Italy selection.

With Roberts going to Parramatta I' d like to see Reynolds have a go ahead of Romelo. I here he played super last year and would like to see how he steps up in first grade. I think they will go with Halatau at hooker though.

Halatau hasn't played hooker for years, and he wouldn't have the fitness to go 80 so you would think that Roberts, Keating, Romelo or Reynolds would have to play hooker at some stage on the weekend. Just going off the amount of minutes and the way Romelo was used in the trials I think Reynolds will be chosen before him.

Reynolds. I think you will see some darting runs from dummy trying to catch lazy markers. Will come into his own later on in the game with the big canberra forwards tiring.
As well he will give more variety from dummy half as far as service to his outside instead of just shovelling it. Being a natural 1/2 - 5/8 he will be showing those wares.
With Roberts being on the nose with coaching staff Reynolds might be the one to entice Keating to perform or he will slot into his spot.
If it is Reynolds I will be looking forward to see how he goes. If Ennis impresses Reynolds or whoever will be given three weeks to aim up.
