Regarding Sam Perrett:

Sam Perrett says he would be “shocked” and “horrified” if Canterbury attempted to shift him out of the club in order to sign Will Hopoate.

With the Bulldogs reportedly set to swoop on the unwanted State of Origin winger, it has been speculated that Perrett could be moved on by the club to make the Hopoate move a reality, despite only signing a new two-year-deal last month.

“It’s all news to me,” a candid Perrett said when contacted by foxsports.com.au.
“I’ve signed the contract already and it would be the shock of my life if the club were to turn around and say ‘there’s not a spot for you here’.
“If it did happen I’d be absolutely horrified because I have no idea about it.”
