anyone else been a bit disapointed in the 1st few days of games? sure it will pick up the more the comp goes on. but besides germany and s.korea none of the games have really thrilled me

hmmmm hasnt been too bad i guess....only thing annoying me is goals being scored early and that would be it (barring the germany v australia game)

I think the players have been adjusting to the ball thats why a few games having been good quality

I think the ball has a lot to do with it. Its winter over there as well, so heat doesnt come into it.

I agree, Germany and South Korea have been the stand-outs so far

not only shots, but long sweeping passes have been way off.

Every World Cup this seems to happen.
I think they do it to make it more un-predictable to give the weaker nations a fair go. Otherwise the tournament would be too one-sided.

It bounces pretty high too. A lot of long passes just seem to bounce over the player's head.
