Hasn't had time to prove himself and already gone? What a shame. Looked like a good prospect. Hope he stays.
He’s had plenty of time. Has shown no improvement in his fitness and always suspended. Obviously it going what needs to be done at training.

Hard to judge the merits of Pele - very little time on the field whether injured, suspended or tired - noticed at a few training sessions early in the year Pele was aw ay from the main group doing what seemed to be agility stuff one on one

Perhaps you want to be in Nasheed's inner circle and failed to make the cut? Or maybe you found yourself on the list and don't want to be there? Don't stress about it. You can have your own inner circle just like the Don, with just a few simple key strokes.

First click on to "forums". On the RHS there is a list of members currently on site. Copy this list and paste it into your post, editing out the extraneous stuff like "& 999 other members".

You didn't think Nashie laboriously typed all those names into his post, did you?

I would say I’m flattered you tagged me, but it doesn’t really seem like an exclusive club lol

Not fussed if we lose Pele. Runs hard for 10 minutes, but then gets gassed…has no motor.

Disappointing end for Pele... I expected more considering his size and mobility but lacks a motor and has had injuries

Hull FC land Canterbury Bulldogs prop as overseas recruitment up and running

Hull FC are actively in the market for NRL players, and have landed one of their top targets.

Canterbury Bulldogs prop Franklin Pele is set to become a Hull FC player for the 2024 season and beyond. Hull Live understands the Black and Whites have landed one of their biggest NRL overseas targets, with the 22-year-old signing on a two-year contract.

The club was first linked with Pele back in May, but Canterbury general manager Phil Gould dismissed initial speculation on social media. However, Hull have persisted with their target amid further reports and speculation to finalise the signing, despite the Sydney-based outfit showing a desire to keep hold of the player.

Understandably, both Gould and the Bulldogs stood their ground, but Hull have worked hard over the last three months with Pele, his manager, and the Australian club to deliver a deal that suits all parties. Furthermore, the Black and Whites have beaten off strong competition from other Super League clubs to secure their man, who Hull Live understands will become a Hull FC player next season.

Pele, who stands at 6 foot 3 and weighs over 130kg, will give Hull the size they have identified for their forward pack and is of the Chris Satae mould, who will join Catalans Dragons at the end of the current season.

The front-rower has played seven NRL games in his career to date, including six for the Bulldogs this year. He made his debut for Cronulla Sharks in 2021, and after working under former Hull player Craig Fitzgibbon, signed for the Bulldogs the following year, only to be sidelined through injury. However, those troubles are long behind him now, with the young prop showing some promise this term with his sheer size and power.

Pele was born in New Zealand but moved to Sydney as a child, also playing for the Australian Schoolboys against England Academy, a team that featured Hull's very own Cam Scott. He has also featured for the Newtown Jets in the New South Wales Cup and is believed to be one of a handful of quota players Hull are hoping to sign for next season.

I’ve lost count. Pele, Davey, Nu brown, reynolds etc
Combined value of 200 bucks. Stop gap signings just like the new ones.. As long as we can pinch some big names along the journey aka JAC/Burton/TPJ/Kikau/Crighton then its a steady climb.

Sure we'll jag another soon.. Just need to start winning games.

Stupid as fuck to sign him and Perham on two year deals. Should of only been either train and trial deals or one year deals
