Jeremy Bulloch, the actor who played the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy in the original trilogy, Boba Fett, has died at the age of 75, due to complications from Parkinson’s disease. Although Fett was only on screen for a few minutes, his distinctive Mandalorian armour, and his strong, commanding presence, even in the company of Vader, meant he became a fan favourite. Although Bulloch did not voice the character, (Jason Wingreen, who died aged 95 in 2016, was the voice actor in Episode V) he wore the armour in Episode V and VI, and gave Boba his swagger, and authoritative demeanour. He would also portray Lieutenant Sheckil in Episode V, he is the one who is holding Leia, and he made a cameo in Episode III as Lieutenant Sheckil, piloting Tantive III, Leia’s father’s diplomatic ship.

Although your time on screen was limited, thank you Mr Bulloch for your part in creating one of the most memorable characters in the Star Wars universe. R.I.P.
