No thread because alot of members have Optus....poor buggers...never trusted that mob from 20 years ago. Remember Billy Idol at the GF...Optus all over that f#%k up lol.

As an Optus customer, for me it highlights that you shouldn't place all of your reliance on one network. Spread your love.

optus has always been annoying to the big boys, like when they had to collude to bring down optus vision

The Y2K bug finally caught up to Optus luckily I got WiFi at work, home and the pub so I am ok. Atleast I'm not getting any scam calls or messages today from @Nasheed relatives! So that's a plus.

Doesn’t work. Optus is down so I didn’t have any wifi at home this morning and Vodafone are upgrading their network in my area so they were down too.

I look after large commercial buildings in the Sydney CBD and this was a while back but we have substantial Optus towers on one of our roofs anyway I shit you not I walkout onto a very secure roof one day just doing the rounds and there is about 6 Chinese workers man and woman taking photos of the towers. I was shocked firstly how they got out there secondly why they were out there and what the fuck they were doing without permission. Called the cops got the footage ect for trespassing no doors or locks were damaged so they knew what they were doing. Told Optus but noting ever came of it. Didn’t want to get into a physical thing so kind of escorted them off site they disappeared before cops could arrive. You can’t bulshit a bullshitter so when I aggressively ask what are you doing up here they all played the awwwww he he arrr ya ya ya no English ha ha ha yes yes

word has it he was once duped by fraudsters and compromised client information and company integrity?

it does happen btw.
I know a guy who worked for Optus and got stung by fraudsters!

My home internet is telstra but mobile is optus don't really give to fucks about my mobile service.
Went to buy coffee this morning couldn't because their was no fucking internet, poor signal service is one thing but network service down nationwide is a bit of a joke.
