Yeah, he is scary fast ..... i think he was only going at three quarters for that last try and still made them look pedestrian.

Set up three tries showing good hands/instincts as well ....

Defense was always going to be the hardest part of his game to get up to scratch .... More decision making rather than actual tackling in my opinion ...

That poor miss last week when he rushed out of the line being a prime example ....

Agree he can't be far away ....

Off topic .... What are your thoughts on Jack Underhill ??

He is moving up my list .... great tackling technique with good size and plenty willing ....
He seems to be doing what he needs to do at this level. Game against Penrith not his best, but did score a try through determination. Mobile n with size, still another year at flegg. Not seen him completely dominate. At times, Seve in sgball completely dominates opposition, doesn't play big minutes. Hope to see him in flegg by mid season.

The flegg game is on you tube on bunnies tv. Just watched it have to say our boys were very impressive. Kicking games from Tia and O’Neil in particular were spot on. Our defence was also very good. South’s only tries off very lucky kicks. Our forwards completely dominated them and our bench was a lot better. Underhill was probs the pick of our forwards def looks a good prospect with enough size. Marshal was great in defence as usual and really complements this team full of bigger bodies well. He will make a good 13 in the nrl but won’t solve our prop issue. The 15 Fahmy Toilalo was great when he came on and Elijah Matale at 11 was just too big for them. To be fair Souths look to have a pretty weak team this year but we completely dominated them. The Hooker Zadius is good. Does hog the ball a bit but does make breaks etc. he is a big body for a 9 and I think is still pretty young may end up being a good 13. Our fullback Warwick is amazing always in the right place calm gets the bounce of the ball and silky in backline plays. However is attitude doesn’t look great, passes the ball off doesn’t charge into the line and just looks too relaxed, didn’t see much support play from him either. Looks like an NRL prospect but may miss QLD or something. I noticed he did get replaced by the 14 who initially came on at 9. If we can get his attitude right kid is a superstar. Once Seve etc join this team they will be very hard to beat. Team is very strong across the park. That being said We were not really tested as Souths look like a bottom team this year.

.
Agree with a lot in your summary. Zaidas started the season in sgball - some very effective things with the ball - but over did it at times. The fullback - not sure if he was hooked on Friday but at times he seems hesitant to engage in the collision - particularly defensively - seems to arrive just a second or two too late to be invovled in heavy collision ala Sloane!

Agree about number 15 he was really good ..... made an impact from his first touch.

Know anything about him ???

Had to look twice at Matelle (sp) thought TPJ had returned.

Tia has a FANTASTIC kicking game ..... very well might be the best at the club .... i thought he was the Roosters best player in last years Flegg. Pulled off a huge hit on his opposite number to boot.

How has Xerri been playing?
Hard to say our cup team has been lacking middles big time. Edwards and Poassa back seemed to make a big difference. He has made a few missed tackles but it has been from broken play with lots of players running at him in space. He is probs next in line for NRL after Wilson.

Gees for a bloke that’s apparently suffering from cte, Carroll commentary on nsw cup is bizarre. Constantly calling players soft if get a head knock. The guy is an old school boofhead, job mustn’t be paying much

Not sure about Turpin. Have been less than impressed by him in the couple games I’ve watched this season though.

Bloke is slow out of DH and dishes lazy passes into players overrunning him.
