Bulldogs prop Dylan Napa is facing the prospect of a combined four-match ban which would rule him out for the rest of the season.

Napa has been charged twice for incidents in Sunday's loss to the Wests Tigers - for dangerous contact on James Tamou in the second minute and a careless high tackle on Thomas Mikaele in the 69th minute.

Both are grade-one offences but if he unsuccessfully contests the charges, he would be banned for last-placed Canterbury's remaining four matches. He can reduce the sanctions to three weeks if he submits guilty pleas.

Canterbury teammate Jack Hetherington is also facing three weeks on the sidelines after being charged for a grade-one careless high tackle on Alex Twal.

Due to four previous offences in the past two years, his penalty has been inflated although he could miss two games if he enters an early guilty plea.
