THE NRL says it won't bend its salary cap rules for Anthony Minichiello despite the Sydney Roosters claiming their captain should be a "test case" for any changes for long-serving players.

An update on the salary cap review and the issue of improving the veteran players' allowance is one of the issues expected to come up at today's chief executives conference.

Surprised we haven't been linked to him , given almost every fullback thus far has been lol.

isnt RTS going to be Fullback for the Rorters?
Why don't the Rorters just face up and tell Mini that he will not be in the squad next year instead of alluding to a 1 year deal and making this noise about veteran players.

Our club should seize the moment. Offer him 1-2 years and get someone trained.

Can't see him playing for anyone but the roosters. Would probably retire if they can't fit him in. My guess is they will fit him in somewhere.
