I agree, he is a good player and just gets played out of position. Look at this improvemnet since shifting to Hooker. Like you i'd like to see him get a crack at FB. Wont happen though.
He cant kick, so why play him in the halves. Has speed, can read defense well, support and can tackle.

Ben Roberts was better than Mbye and that's saying something.

We all remember Roberts had the shittiest kicking game ever, but then along comes Mbye with his heat seeker kicks straight to the fullbacks chest.

Also you knew Roberts had 2 good games a year so you could look forward to that. Mbye has never had a good game.

Roberts was also very entertaining, especially when he threw cut-out passes over the sideline!

The fact he's come in and played hooker better than Lichaa has for several years in a few games shows he isn't a terrible footballer. Or maybe it just shows how bad lichaa really was? But we've all seen he has the speed to run hard and fast through holes in the few times they open up in the positions he's in. Throw him in fullback what's the worst that could happen? Hoppa makes a great centre anyway.
