Mbye is the weakest link

The weakest link is playing a center at fullback, a utility/hooker at 6, a fullback/5-8 at halfback, a bench prop at 2nd row and a prop at lock.

Our balance is garbage, we burn a position on Holland because we need a goal kicker, we don't have an athletic, power forward to shift momentum in the ruck, Graham and Tolman are too similar, too much money in the forwards, no dynamic presence on the bench and most importantly - we have 2 running halves.

Call it a dominant half, halfback, playmaker, shot caller or whatever else - we are short one and have been since Hodkinson.

I agree with pretty much all of that...except that Hodko was an effective shot caller and dominant half. It was same shit with Hofko most of the time. Although in all honesty at his best he was a lot better in that role than Mbye. We need a more consistent organisational half at 7. If Reynolds and Mbue stay in the team, st keStcone of them should be shifted out of the halves.

Edit: well, I guess we'll get a new halves combo now with Mbye's injury.... but after his game and kicking game tonight you've gotta question whether 7 is his best position when fit (if you weren't already)

Hoppa is a solid player, but solid isn't good enough for Fullback now days.

Mbye has cashed in on the clubs mistake from 12 years ago. It's not his fault he isn't Thurston. But it is the clubs fault for not identifying that he isn't in that class.

I'm convinced that Reynolds has a mental issue that needs medical attention.

I used to think the same but the more I watch the paid of them I think Reynolds would go better with a half who can control the game and he can roam around and pick off opportunities. He's trying too hard to make things happen

Paying $750k for Mbye is like buying a mint Mitsubishi Sigma. Thought it was a good idea at the time

Problem is that we are stuck with this useless prick till the end of 2020. This is one time that Castle fucked up and didn't give him a "Des, get out clause".

Give Frawley ago . Our halves let us down again. Overall we weren't far off. Had lots of opportunities yet poorly executed. A quality half or a half that can control a team would of at least got one more try with all the possession we had. Mybe needs to be moved. Frawley given ago. If Frawley fails then move on. Either way we won't improve with our halves.
