Probably doesn't deserve it's own thread, but anyway, has Reynolds skipped leg day? why is someone who can't kick the ball to at least the try line taking the kickoffs?

It does deserve a thread. Even Holland cant kick off for shit and it's annoying because they get an extra 10m and momentum for a run up each time we kick off

Like the rest of our kicking game its probably dictated by Des. Not risking a penalty on the halfway for out on the full. Players try and get them more these days with the foot in touch when they take the ball on the full ingoal.

I spent a year bagging Reynolds, then I moved onto Eastwood, Graham and Tolman.....and I got egg all over my face each time. So I'll give the players a breather for a while and see how I go if I bag the coach instead! LMFAO

If you've seen the height on Reynolds bombs and the length of his long range kicks I'm not sure if he could kick any further even if he wanted to.

We look like schoolboys when it come to facets of the game that can be practiced....such as kicking the ball, be that drop out, kick off, grubber, bomb etc or even simply passing the ball.

what frustrates me is our kicking for touch, 10-20 metres,its not enough, other teams are making 40-50 metres, surely they practice this at training???

Id like to see teams punch it straight to touch 100 mile an hour. Straight at the big guys. 30-40m down. Place the ball sideways, its a lottery. Hahaha. Used to do it years ago.

Agree. Fullbacks are pretty good at it these days.

It is questionable whether trying to squeeze those extra few metres out of a kickoff is worth the risk of giving away a penalty.
