He should have been picked last week. In the trials he was the only one putting shots on and striking fear into the opposition.

Whether he does that in FG is another thing but hopefully he can add some of that off the bench as we badly need some physicality.

Only still young. So will be a baptism of fire. But was promising in the trials. And played well last week. Way better than our other second rower in reserves. But will be a big ask for him considering he doesn’t have a huge motor. Speed of the game might be hard to adjust. But only way you will is with game time with the big boys.

Good luck to him if picked. Bigger body so helps our bench size (Mann and Morrin are too much of the same same).

Kautoga looked great in the trials especially in defence. Whacked hard.
Stand-up young player and we need bulk up front.

Yup, he was putting the kind of sting into our defense that we used to get from most of our forward pack in 2004, and from guys like Reardon in the 90s. It was great to see, even if only in trials. Would love to see it at FG level.
