We are not winning a grand final with Reynolds in the halves. He lacks composure and all of the game management duties fall onto the half back. Good halves pairings mean the duties are shared. Michael Morgan was a revelation for the Cowboys because he took a lot of pressure off Thurston.

Even Chad Townsend last season for all his faults, had a cool head, straightened the attack and had a decent kicking game.

we were not winning the GF with Ennis as our hooker either.

that myth got busted within 2 years of him leaving the Dogs.

Ahhh this old chestnut... Yes Reynolds can win a GF it just depends on the players around him. It is much harder to win an Origin over 3 games against a stacked QLD then a more even competition between club sides in a one off GF. That argument is incorrect. Put Reynolds in the 6 with the Storm teams of the last 10 years and you don't think he could have won a GF??

Reynolds wouldn't fit in at 6 at the storm tbh.

I'm saying hypothetically if he had been the 6 at the Storm over the last 10 years. Anywhere he could just play his game and have the players around him to play their part. The Origin win makes the "he can't win a GF" debate redundant IMO

Don't agree with that, Reynolds natural game would of had a negative impact on the storms system.

Yeah the storm are far to structured for a player like reynolds. Reynolds would be far more suited to a team like the Tigers or warriors

1. Hodko won the match when he sold the dummy and straightened up the attack. Series winning try + his goal kicking.

2. Watch the 2012 grand final highlights to see how badly Reynolds got exposed in defence.

3. Storm want structured players who are cool and composed in the halves. There is a reason Bellyache won't go after him, the only interest would come from cellar dwelling clubs such as Newcaslte & Tigers.

Townsend controlled the game which allowed Maloney to play an attacking role. Same thing happened when Frawley came in. Reynolds no longer had to control the game and he ripped the opposition apart. Last game Frawley didn't control the game and Reynolds went back to controlling the game where he's obviously not comfortable.

Anyone rubbishing Reynolds haven't a fucken clue! You can't buy his effort and have you uneducated fucks seen his play this year? He's on fire and the team is following.
Just buy a side to win the comp, it'll be a hollow victory.
At least a dozen players should be shopped around before him.
I've seen comments stating he only has one aspect to his game, but different examples are always given!!! lol
Stop fucken whinging and appreciate the effort our boys are putting in.
This is the most negative site I have ever seen! Is it run by bulldog supporters or just haters/whingers?
If you want to buy a comp go back to '02 or follow the roosters losers.
Get some knowledge on the game and realize that you can't throw money at mercenaries for instant success!
Put some stupid picture you downloaded and put it in as a comment BRO!
No fucken idea!
Name the big stars when we won in 95 and made some pretty memorable finals' runs soon after.
It was a team of blokes putting in 100%
Have a go fuckwits.....
Josh, stop posting on this site. U need to concentrate on playing Canberra this weekend.

Btw, please take the offer the Tigers have made to you!

Yeah... but Reynolds was in that Origin team and they won. Doesn't matter who did what. Your point about not winning big games because of Reynolds is quashed because of that fact.

Interesting that when the Dragons playmaker, Widdop goes off, the capacity of the dragons to mount a good offensive structure goes out the window. Can't help but notice how similar they played to what we do without a ball playing half on the field. Doesn't affect their defensive structure, just like us. Adds weight to the need for Frawley to step up.

You have to laugh at the people who are saying "Reynold's is too inconsistent, bye bye" and then saying we should sign Foran, who has spent two or three years bouncing around clubs and being one bad day away from taking a bath with a toaster.
