along with the weather app for the lockinfo

no idea. I purchased mine at the apple store so it is not locked to any network

this means if you used a jailbreak unlock to unlock your phone to any network and you still rely on that unlock to use your phone right now, don't update to 4.2.1 because doing so will cause you to lose your unlock.. If you don't need your phone unlocked then it's fine to update. Only because the older basebands are the only ones that can be unlocked.

With my jailbroken ip4.. Every time my phone runs out of battery I have to reboot tethered on redsno in order to use my phone at all. Is there a way around this? Btw I am not really much of a techie so please explain in easy to understand terms lol.

whether the jailbreak is tethered or untethered you wont be able to have it unlocked using your jailbreak if you update your iphone to the latest baseband.

That's the downside to the tethered jailbreak, if you dont use or need the network unlock found in cydia you should be able to use the untethered jailbreak from greenpoison.

The multi tasking with this jailbreak is ****. I have had my iPone crash several times because I was playing a game whilst listening to music and receiving a call/sms at the same time.

I have restored and tried again. Same issues.

Now back to a plain ol' iPhone
