Rami the worst that can happen is you don't like it and you restore it back to it's original state. Is it really worth jailbreaking?
What are the pros and cons?
I've been tempted to do it but don't think I will end up going ahead with it.
Unlock between service providers Telstra/Voda/OptusWhat does it mean by if your iphone relies on an unlock do not update to iOs 4.2.1, how can someone determine that?
Right and from previous experience, have there been issues with these service providers?Unlock between service providers Telstra/Voda/Optus

this means if you used a jailbreak unlock to unlock your phone to any network and you still rely on that unlock to use your phone right now, don't update to 4.2.1 because doing so will cause you to lose your unlock.. If you don't need your phone unlocked then it's fine to update. Only because the older basebands are the only ones that can be unlocked. What does it mean by if your iphone relies on an unlock do not update to iOs 4.2.1, how can someone determine that?
Without relying on tethering???this means if you used a jailbreak unlock to unlock your phone to any network and you still rely on that unlock to use your phone right now, don't update to 4.2.1 because doing so will cause you to lose your unlock.. whether the jailbreak is tethered or untethered you wont be able to have it unlocked using your jailbreak if you update your iphone to the latest baseband.Without relying on tethering???
That's the downside to the tethered jailbreak, if you dont use or need the network unlock found in cydia you should be able to use the untethered jailbreak from greenpoison. With my jailbroken ip4.. Every time my phone runs out of battery I have to reboot tethered on redsno in order to use my phone at all. Is there a way around this? Btw I am not really much of a techie so please explain in easy to understand terms lol.
