Jacob Preston = 35 made tackles with only 1 missed.

2 players that are good defensively & go through a lot of work.

We need them both on the field for defensive purposes. They are our best 2 defensive players.

That's why I've previously said I'd keep him on the left and shift Kikau to right when he returns. Kikau can tackle with both shoulders, carry the ball and fend with both arms and pass both ways. He obviously hasn't done it much considering he's played on the left for so long but he definitely has it in his game as I've seen it over the years.

I’ve been critical of Topine but I’ll give him credit he was great yesterday and he should be starting over Okunbor and Waddell on the right edge with Preston on the left till Kikau comes back

That will come with age hopefully. It's hard to be too vocal as a rookie. But we'll see if he has it in him. Either way his actions speak louder than words. Bobcat barely said a word but he led from the front and set an example that way.
