Intense, passionate - using his explosive acceleration in attack, always backing up (so was baa),
putting his body on the line in D.

Mbye is another T-Rex - seems we are destined to have at least one 600/700k nobody in our team.

Don't get me started on T-Rex who was involved directly in two tackle misses that Cowboys scored off.

Mbye is useless, he's had umpteen chances to prove he can handle being a halfback but he's done fuck all, another waste of money, if he's getting 800k a season then it's 799k too much.

The kid can play but he gets the ball in situations where nothing is on. Forwards will get a roll on but when it gets in tolman and grahams hands before it gets to him they just slide off them. Both halves would benefit from a style of footy that lets them have a proper go. Remember how good reynolds was in 2012 when he got the ball with a bit of space

Mybe is a decent player but halfback is not his go.. Dessie needs to find another position for him. the bigger issue is that our spine is terrible.. Take a look at the top 4 as it is now, the spine they all have are class.

The worst thing about Mbye lately is that even when he does get somewhat involved, a lot of his passes have been shit. I'd say his short kicking game has actually improved in more recent times but he is clearly still adjusting to being a halfback.

If Hasler won't play him at starting hooker or as a running 5/8 then he needs to be punted to the ESL or just dropped to reserve grade immediately.

For the past month we've looked great when Frawley comes on and him and Reynolds play halves, Mbye goes to 9, Lichaa to the bench.

Exactly. He is playing to our structures. But he wears the 7 and people are making ridiculous comparisons because of that. People expect him to do what a typical 7 should do, but he isn't a 7 and isn't being asked to play like one.

A half needs space and options around them to create. Atm he has fuck all space because the service on the inside is fucking sloppy and fuck all options because our forwards don't actually run lines. So how do people expect to him to "take control"?

Mbye played down the left edge 4 times last night and every single time he played the wrong option , he can't read numbers he has no vision and plays with no passion.

He is not made for the halves , he had a perfect 4 on 2 situation and what does he do. Kicks it dead. He's not a playmaker and he can't kick to save his life. I was a supporter of mbye in the halves but not anymore. Either he plays dummy half or we should get rid of him
