Potter was the reserve grade coach last before we had the 2 team reserve grade system. Do we go with Potter who is outside of the barrett staff for a fresh approach or do go with tanga/furner options who are in the system.
Id personally go with Potter, he has been there and done that before

Is there an e.g. of this ever happening? As in next years coach (that isn't an interim/already at the club) joins mid season.

I guess Maybe John Morris, but he's not really a solid example, very rare circumstance and it didn't seem like they ever wanted to keep him long term.

While you make a valid point, our development has been pushed back 18 months. Tangles knows the boys better than other options and would logically be the best candidate to help them.
