We get one junior playing few good games and he asks for 200 ks / year..... you think Gillet (possible Dally M rookie of the year), Hoffman, Norman, Teo, Yow yeh would all be playing for around 50ks/ year next season after turning Broncos season around on their own???

Bruno Cullen sounds exactly like that cheating ex CEO from Storm who was giving lectures on "honesty" not long ago
who is that?

The figures are easily verified or disproved. He's quoting the salary cap adjustments made by the NRL and a list of players that have left. How could he possibly lie about those? All club CEOs would know how much the cap has been raised by so how could Cullen quote false figures and not get caught?

who is that?
Last year Idris and now Barba (probably not on 200ks, but close to ).

What I am saying that it is not easy to retain all the good young players, cos they get offered big money from struggling clubs straight away.

If Broncos can retain so many awsome young players and also buy international player's' ....it does raise some questions on how one club can do it so easily while others struggle to keep under the current salary cap.

But hey Broncos look more honest when St. Merge can have a half a million dollar player playing for 100ks .

Dogs needs to get the accountants from Broncos and St. Merge instead of going for their players :grinning:

Agian naive Broncos supports. Atleast be open minded or do you choose as supports just to be subjective?

You know what really is sad is that teams like Canberra or the Sharks could have really done great thingd with the signing of Inglis, like attract players & sponsors. How were these two teams never in the running? oh yeah they had no more money under the cap but the Broncos had a spare 500K in the kitty. lolol f--king joke

Like I said a lasy $100 on the Broncos to win the wooden spoon next year. Although it would be a waste of my hard earned money as they will never "OR" have never being caught.

Because the NRL is just that incompetent at looking for salary cap rorts..

If you look at all the teams that got caught, it wasn't actually due to the NRL doing anything, it was simply disgruntled employees, nosy journalists and etc discovering these rorts.

The Bulldogs in 2002 had they not been caught we would've been running around with all the stars we've produced, and guys like Asotasi, SBW and etc would've never left because we wouldn't be paying them 400k but rather 600k and so forth....

Obviously we'd lose a few players here and there but the core players in our team would remain.

lol one news corp team to another....yeah nothing dodgy there at all.

Lockyer is beginning to look stupider and stupider after his comments about the dragons being dodgy managing to get Gasnier back into the NRL under the cap.
