Regardless of whether it was the warriors or not there was many things in last nights game which was immense for this team going forward.

- Defended the line strong enough to deter the best of teams.
- Running onto the ball not waiting for it flat footed.
- Passing the ball in front of players not behind them
- Eastwood playing what 50-60min straight?
- Lichaa proving he is capable of being a strong hooker
- Morris boys happy to run the ball more
- Blooding something different at the back with abbey and Montoya
- Running set plays and them ACTUALLY WORKING!
- Bench is starting to fire
- Kicking game is improving
- Halves throw cut out face balls? Tell me I didn't see that... TWICE!


But the most important things to me are the following,

- Team showing composure and cleverness ( Eastwoods clap in decoy ) Briiliant old school footy!
- Showing the spirit the dogs are reknown for not for 10mins not in patches but for a solid 60-70mins

This team is young and growing..... If the dogs play like this all year I wouldn't be surprised if we go close again.

2018 Is looking solid.

We played the Warriors. Don't get ahead of yourselves...

No we didnt just beat the warriors. We looked good vs roosters despite losing because of goalkicking and pushed the best defence in the nrl in the wet to go down by 6. Season had been promising so far, despite blooding 2 rookies in 1 game and a different backs combination every game.

Getting ahead of yourself would also include assuming we will go badly in future games btw.
