I like the side but i pose a question....is there a point in carrying 2 props (Armit/Morrin) and 2 back rowers (Eastwood/Gordon) on the bench??? I ask because our back rowers (especially Stagg & Ryan) can and will play the 80mins leaving only Warburton to be subbed off. Hannant and Hodgson are also capable of playing big minutes (around 55-60mins) and maybe even more.

I dont think there is room to have both Armit and Morrin (i think Morrin would drop out but he must be considered unlucky cause he has been on fire) as Eastwood has been used as a prop with Gordon subbing in for Warburton. I really think we should have Barba on our bench and use him whenever we need a spark.

Holdsworth is solid with the team we have and our backrowers all capable of big minutes, there really isnt any room for Holdsworth in the side. I would prefer that X-factor of Barba instead but it isnt an easy decision, its something the coaching staff is obviously going to work out.
Agreed mate - as i have stated :grinning:

Judging from previous weeks it looks like Holdsworth will be in the 17.

With Morrin and Armit both on the bench (which i personally like) It allows Eatswood and Gordon to play around the fringes of the field which means their offloads and line breaks are more beneficial.

It has been a shame seeing eastwood play tight around the ruck as he is more of a lock/ball playing 2nd rower.

I would like to see a team like that but i think that Morrins or Gordons positions will be under threat to Holdsworth.

And with a half it is very hard to make an impact in 10-15 mins which he gets. Especially as he is a ball running 5/8 instead of a ball playing half.

We dont neeed another 5/8 on the field, we have Roberts. Holdsworth is being used as a running second rower and if he gets picked ahead of Gordon, it is a joke, gordon offers much more

All I can say~ Greenberg and Kevin Moore and coaching staff did wonders to the club. Nearly all the players are playing to their best ability

Nah i wouldnt go that far loll a team with a bench of SBW, Asotasi, Thurston and Hughes was pretty good and our starting side and especially pack was insane.

sbw, asotasi and thurston were only at the start of there career apart from sbw the other two especially thurston were good but no where near what they would become and hughes is shyt.its not the same as if you had sbw, thurston and asotasi coming of the bench now, they were only rookies then.

Thats going to be one deadly team. Finally Goodwin & Eastwood are back :grinning:

Our team will be hard to stop come finals time. Can't wait :D

From our scrambling defence to our attack we have bassically every aspect of a good team covered and it is well balanced.

Are you kidding me?

The 04 team is miles ahead of this team and any other team in NRL currently.

The 2 teams are totally different and both well suited to the style of play each team is/was playing at the time.
