Yo Wahesh..... let me break it down for you again.

I love Matty Johns but was simply pointing out the crap he said this morning that we are paying the majority of the above mentioned players’ contracts which is ludicrous.

As for their relationship it is well documented they’ve had issues in the past. If they’ve resolved them great. But I was just pointing out the fact that Matty still, on a daily basis, takes the piss out of his brothers past drug problem and maybe Matty should be getting off the drugs/piss with comments about the dogs paying most of these players contracts.

Capish now ? :grinning:
Capish? It's capiche mate. Yes we are capiche.

And walla I'm sorry bro.

No journo knows how much a player is on or a clubs cap situation. It's all guesswork and "a mate of a mate of a mate told me that ......"

Common sense will tell you the sharks are paying between 600k to 700k and we are paying 100k to 200k.

CASE CLOSED, MOVE ON! WHO DO WE BUY?

Alright guys did some research on The Daily Telegraph and Fox Sports, and found this.

Woods' original contract that he signed with us prior to this season was a $3,200,000/4 Year Contract, which equates to $800,000 per season. Woods is being paid between $600,000 and $650,000 per season by Cronulla and we are paying the remainder for the next two seasons. We're paying roughly $200,000-$250,000 per season for the next two years while freeing up over $600,000 per season.

I'm happy with that outcome fellas.
Have you been doing our salary cap the past few years?

More closer to $150,000 we are paying per year champ.

I've heard a bunch of different stuff. Some have said the Sharks are paying 70% and Woods took a $20,000 paycut, earlier today I heard that we're paying 500K and they're paying 500K.

Anyone have a reliable source that knows how much we're actually paying?

Cheers fellas
The Dogs are [emoji383] paying $175k pa towards Woods playing at the Sharks

If we are paying $150k per season in 2019 & 2020 our club is even more of a pathetic joke!!
What about the balance of this season?
The guy was on 800k a year, the sharks offer was for 550,the dogs said no, they wanted 650,sharks went back on Monday and raised to 600 the dogs said no,then woods took 50k cut to make deal happen, that is according to a few radio programs,
Doing the rounds, and some gossip around the club

So we aren't paying anything then towards him?

That’s inconsistent with the ‘holding the cards’ comment of Flanagan. Clearly we are paying something, otherwise Flanagan wouldn’t be so cocky

I read / reporters inferred he was on $850k with us. Sharks wanted us to pay some baggage, we declined, so Woods took a pay cut to $650k and the deal was done.
I hope that's the case because I wouldn't want to pay a cent for to play elsewhere.
