I have an insider.

Aka my sister, who is pretty high up on the r&d side in Smiths/Pepsi.

(But, yes, I also get free chips)
There’s a recipe for disaster. I could literally eat a bag of smiths for breakfast if it was socially acceptable

Tbh, about 20 years ago we were housemates and I put on like 20 kilos.
I could imagine, I stock up when half price, as are now at woolies. Always tell myself, just leave em till weekend. Nope, gone before then. Actually of late I’ve gotten a lot better. A packet can now last in cupboard

Maybe you can.

Point is, they are still Smith's chips.

Maybe they give the Smith's brand extra flavour
If I were Smiths, I wouldn't give them the exact recipe.

What? Last an hour? Lol. Shapes are a killer, I'll devour that box like air and then suffer later for it lol.

They are made in the same factory, by the same people.

They would make Smiths then after a certain amount made, they change packaging, add or decrease the flavour & call them Sprinters.

They are extremely protective of recipes. It's like the Coke formula or the Colonel's 11 herbs and spices.

About 20 years ago there was a big competition where they got the public to suggest new flavours and the four finalists were a hugely guarded secret. My sister was like 1 of 4 people in the world who knew the answers and if she told me it would have cost her job.

I inhaled a whole bag of the Aldi CCs/Doritos last night (forget what they're called) & I've barely left the bathroom this morning....
