Maybe but I just see him as rather no frills. Making less than 100m a game as a forward is much of what we already have.That’s a weird take bro. Sele is a strong middle, we don’t need another second rower, we have Kikz and Preston.
Ideally we need a link man at lock to punch it up field, with an offload at the ready,
We need a Patrick Carrigan, Isaah Yeo, Corey Horsborough, Jason Taumalolo, Cameron Murray style lock.
Most games decent locks are making comfortably over 100m.
Sele is being played at prop these days, because Murray is at lock, and not really putting in big numbers. Best this year is 69m, then 54m, and all other games are below 50m.
Fair call he's playing out of his skin today (94m from 18 minutes so far), but that's far from a normal performance.
Dogs can't afford to be wasting money on average players hoping the magically "come good". That's what has got us in the shit at the moment.
