Sure, but I will repeat, we have Cap space and we have space in our Top 38 (max). So there is no need to swap anyone for anyone else. We can have both, and then some.

Your comment here instantly reminded me of this below Monty Python skit ..

Picture JAC in the photo instead of Brian …. Look, there’s no need to swap me, there’s no need to swap anyone .. we don’t need to swap anyone at all .. we already have the cap space to buy ..

Excuse me, can I ask a personal question …. Where are you … Why are you not playing this week ?

Different sizes and having balance - on the assumption they can all play - dogs problem too many smaller ball playing types not enough tough nut run hard tackle hard big bodies - Salmon Mann Morrin Curran Mahoney on the field at the same time wont work too often
No matter the size, no one can coach heart, courage and intent… Cotter is case in point - However, I agree that sizeable run hard tackle hard types is severely lacking.

I'm sure Mooney would work if, say, NAS was on the field a the same time. But with our current roster he's too similar a "shape" to what we already have.

It’s the style of player that we don’t seem to have that other clubs do. Legs like Les Boyd, stockier build, explosive power, and silly speed for a big man. Oh, and throw in an aggressive edge..

size of the fight in the dog Baz, size of the fight in the dog.
Yeah mate, you know exactly what I mean.

He wasn’t a criminal he was a ‘colourful racing identity’. We have colourful identities here on TK too - but they specialise in circus arts rather than equine arts :-).
No one can handle a sunflower water pistol like those flops.

My critique;
Trey Mooney - 188/106 too small for prop, we already have a couple of decent locks.

The guys we can't talk to until November, a lot will happen between now and then.
J'Maine Hopgood- 185/102 too small for prop, we already have a couple of decent locks.
Reuben Cotter - On peanuts at the Cowboys, will get a substantial upgrade before November. Taumalolo is the key here.
Thomas Hazelton - Cronulla have an CO on him for 2025, almost certain they will upgrade and extend at the same time as exercising their Option.
Xavier Willison - played 11 NRL games for the Donkeys over 4 seasons, only 21, maybe a good get for the future, but doesn't solve the problem for 2025/6.
Egan Butcher - 187/96 too small for prop, we already have plenty of decent 2nd rowers.

Cut the list in half, very easily.

Roy Asotasi was one of the best props in the world and he was 183cm and 103kg. Mooney's stats speaks for itself. I honestly hope dogs go after him for next year if not mid season swap with Sutton. I'm sure Stuart wouldn't mind sutton back.

Man, I don’t want to ban or warn people. Footy is back let’s talk footy. I need to remind users that off topic, trolling, baiting, insinuating will result in warns and bans.

His Dad is getting frustrated and understandably so.

Not ideal no. But turned out alright for Tapine when his missus was having shots at Canberra haha. Form and effort wins out in the end.
yeah not all the time, I have seen more than one career harpooned by helicopter parents. And i would put money on it, that a big part of why this kid isn't being considered for FG is because of his old man.

Maybe he wants out and his Dad is part of the plan?

I don't think so, think he's just trying to understand why his kid isn't getting a run. Just taking the uncommon route.

Probably a bit silly tho ...unless it's intentional and his manager has had feelers put to him?

Canberra starting well and Horsburgh back this week. I can't see him playing any NRL for Canberra this year except maybe over origin.
