That's an odd little quirk Nexus !
"Lefty" guitars and "Natural" drum set up !!!

Quick questions with your drums ..

Tom Sizes ?
What hardware ?
Is there a 'splash' I cant see ?
Yeah i know. Im left handed but do some things right handed such as drums, golf etc, i also kick right footed.

Tome sized are 8", 10", 12", 13" 14" and 16", with the 14 and 16 obviously being the floor toms.

All Tama hardware.

I have the splash mounted upside down on one of my crashes as I havent bothered to go out and get the hardware for it yet

Thought it'd be fun to have a talk about 'pedals' seeing as though I'm on a spree for bargains with tax return money.

What pedals do you have ?
Do you have a custom board ?
What can you recommend ?
What's on your wishlist ?

I drew up plans for my own pedal-board. I own two, with one coming in mail via eBay, and want for the rest.

Hey CK. If you're going to get a Tubescreamer, make sure it's a TS-808, or at least a modded one (think some people call it the Brown mod or some ****?). The generic ones are puss. As the name suggests, the Tubescreamer will make a good tube amp go over the top and sound great, but will do very little for solid state amps. Expensive but worth it, esp if you're partial to a bit of soloing.

A lot of the Boss stuff you have mentioned is a part of the ME-50 multiple effects (analog version of GT-8). I've got one and I ****ing love it. Very simple to use and saves me carting around 200 pedals. Some of the distortions and mods are crap. but plenty of usable ones, with good recreations of the Tubescreamer, Rat, Hot Fuzz and of course, all the good Boss tones we all love. Built like a tank, with a great sounding wah, (I think so anyway, many disagree) it is a good option for minimal outlay, but in saying that, you can't beat a pedal chain with quality gear, just doesn't happen.

I have both the Boss tuner and the Behringer tuner,as well as the one in the ME-50. The Behringer one, imo, is just as good and a third of the price.

T-Rex is absolute quality, can't go wrong, and for a bit of patriotic noise, MI Audio make some great stuff too.

Wasn't sure if you have these pedals or were thinking of buying them, so if you do, reply with' Shut the **** up ****' Rock on CK :headbange

All good Zap - I'm on a E-bay spree.

Guitar stand for 5 axes = $20
6x 30cm patch-leads = $15
Behringer Tuner = $44

Currently tracking a BOSS EQ for $75.

CK currently finishing my guitar, hows a chocolate top sound?
I saw dood - I've been patiently tracking you for weeks hoping for photos and this morning I got gravy :D !

I'm the last person to ask about woodgrains btw, but chocolate sounds pretty cool to me. I cant wait to be WOW'd when it's done - I'm very impressed already. I've seen a couple of HSC jobs over the years, but yours is miles in front !

I only have 1 affect, a Roland SE 201.
You need to know how to splice audio tape.
You're able to re-engineer reel to reel to acheive
Sound on Sound.
At the moment the feedback from the
Goldentone and Playmaster 60W's are endless,
literally. I'm achieving intense tube saturation.
Experiments with the tape delay are leading me
to connect multiple delay and re-engineered reel
to reel, some of them connected on the one lenghth of tape.
The Fender Mustang has seen better days.
I was going to get an Apache guitar
(there is an inscription on a tree located on an island)
'sabella Fender Cyclone II :-)
Need to finish the LP
It's good on 1 7/8 ips.
Nevertheless the master recording will be on a two inch reel.
I like vinyl records, so I hope that You will have the chance
to hear it soon.

Its a choas pad that you can run your pick or fingernail up and down to create crazy effects and pitches during interludes or intros, etc
Check out MUSE guitar god Matthew Bellamy on utube to get the full appreciation :grinning:
