1st half assessment:

We look so much more dangerous with Hutchinson on the right than we do with Burton on the left. Burton clogs the left side, whereas Hutchinson straightens draws the defence in and holds it up for just enough time. I hope they move Sexton to 6.

The good:
- Hutchinson is the man we have needed for a few years now, Roosters fans I know are spewing to have lost him and he is already showing his ability is well above any other playermaker we have on the books.
- Hughes and Faam have been great up front.
- Kautoga in the 2nd row excellent
- Weak-gutted-dog suprisingly has been a serviceable link man
- Wilson showing he deserves right wing
- Mahoney looks to have started the year with the right attitude and effort

The bad:
- Taafe has been underwhelming out the back, I think Crighton should take that position and Taafe as 14.
- Burton, still not convinced he is a 6, simply not a play maker. General play kicking bang average with no accuracy.
- Xerri, all hype and little action as expected

Other:
Skelton has had some solid dummy half runs but is prone to errors, keen to see more of him
