I didnt know what to expect tbh. Ive seen very little of him. I figured if Moses "not a halfback" MBye was keeping him in NSW Cup he wasnt that great.

Des will be back on the shit list big time if he starts MBye at half next week ahead of Frawley. There is no reason Frawley shouldnt be given another go considering he looked more like a halfback in that one game than MBye has in 2 seasons. MBye can be utility off the bench. Better than a forward who plays less than 5 minutes being there. MBye can cover more positions in case of injury, than a forward anyway. He can technically cover 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9. he started as that when he first hit FG. He should return to that or go to another club if he insists he only wants to be a half.

Reserve grade doesn't always give you a good insight of a players true ability. Thats where good judges identify the raw talent and complement it by playing them amongst seasoned 1st graders. Frawley fits perfecty in this instance and Montoya as well. Prior to there inclusions, they weren't exactly setting the house on fire.

About time we got to see a decent kicking game from our halfback and what a difference it made. It's not rocket science to suggest that by building pressure and giving ourselves an opportunity to score points is going to see us win more games than not.
A lot of people say put reynolds at hooker or 14 but I would like to see Mbye to 14 as I see him as an ideal utility. He has pace and can play in the halves, centres, probably FB and I'd bet he would make a good dummy half runner. He can defend as well.
