All capable of decent yardage in their own rights too, and drawing in defenders, opening gaps for the Fox.
JAC is good for the guys inside him as well, the opposition wingers know that they can't leave even the smallest space on the outside because JAC will embarrass them. As a result they can't creep infield and crowd the centre. If the winger stays wide and the centre crowds in on our 5/8 then we have more than enough pace inside to burn them there as well. Defending against our backline gets harder every game.

Indeed, and the more time they play with each other will ensure that.

He's never been the big yardage winger. But a half chance for most wingers for him is virtually a 75% chance. Our backline this year will give him more of those chances and there's not many I'd prefer to see with those chances.

Let's put those stats into practice. 3 tries tonight with one likely try bombed due to the dropped intercept.

I honestly thought he was a luxury buy when we got him. And if we're out bid for him when he comes off contract so be it. But he's been great for us when he's fit. But again, he's not the yardage winger people want, just an incredible finisher. If freeing up his wage meant we could pick up a top 5 halfback or an 80 minute prop that dominated the opposition id understand wanting to see him moved in. But moving him on now would just mean we had stupid money to throw at a poor player.
Agree he’s not a yardage winger, but his post contact meters have improved a lot since he started only eating meat!!

Our style of football isnt sustainable over 26+ rounds, We badly need a damaging prop or 2.
Agree our tough footy and grit can only go so far eventually we will fall off a cliff with injuries or just tire out.

Fox is very important to the team. He brings so much energy for other players. Fox is a match winner. So many swap Fox for other player suggestions just crazy. I think we've heard Fox for Matterson, Twal, Taylan May and Lomax. Skelton is going good in reggies he's no where near Fox. Last two weeks showed how important Fox is for players around him.

Anyone see Fox Sports during the game show JACs strikerate at the Bulldogs?

Currently tracking better than at the Storm.

23 games for Bulldogs, 22 tries (and one he missed out on today). Given he was injured some of last year (and had to return to form) and hasn't scored this year till a few rounds in, that's a remarkable stat for JAC.

Fox still looks a tad injured for mine (or the hangover from it).
Not quite back at top form yet. But you'd take a 90% Fox and his speed - still well fast enough to blow past defenders.
A 100% Fox scores that second try, and maybe even hangs onto Burton's kick as well.
Good signs for the coming weeks, if he can stay on the improve.
