Canterbury-Bankstown

IN:

Aiden Tolman, 22, back row (Melbourne Storm):
Forced to leave Melbourne due to their salary cap problems, Tolman was hot property on the transfer market. Tough and uncompromising, at just 22, this emerging star shapes as one of the buys of the 2011 season.

Frank Pritchard, 27, back row (Penrith): Everybody knows how destructive the Kiwi forward can be - on his day, a pure match-winner. He has previously been labelled as inconsistent, but if there is a club to stamp this out of his game it’s the Bulldogs.

Grant Millington, 24, back row/prop (Cronulla):
The 24-year-old enjoyed a consistent year with Cronulla in 2009. Millington is a sizeable forward entering his fourth NRL season and should be around Kevin Moore's top 17.

Greg Eastwood, 23, back row/prop (Leeds Rhinos - Super League):
Eastwood left Belmore at the end of 2009 and was sorely missed. The New Zealand Test forward adds muscle to the Dogs' engine room, an issue they needed to address.

Jonathan Wright, 23, centre/wing (Parramatta):
Still in the infancy of his NRL career, Wright is reported to be training the house down at his new club. The 23-year-old is tall, athletic and has the ability to play centre or wing.

Kris Keating, 22, five-eighth (Parramatta):
Keating's instinctive football skills make him an ideal fit to playing alongside Hodkinson. Expect the 22-year-old to revel in a new culture; his battle with Ben Roberts for the No.6 spot will be healthy for a club coming off a disappointing season.

Michael Lett, 23, centre/wing (St George Illawarra):
A former junior Kangaroos representative who has been endorsed by coaching guru Phil Gould. Lett impressed in his limited opportunities at the Dragons but was stuck behind a Test-standard backline.

Trent Hodkinson, 22, halfback (Manly): Snapped up following a strong rookie season, Hodkinson follows the golden boots of the retired No.7 Brett Kimmorley. As a player who makes less bad decisions than other young halves, Hodkinson appears a sensible purchase to steer a strong playing roster.

OUT: Ben Hannant (Brisbane Broncos), Nathan Massey (Canberra), Daniel Harrison (Manly), Luke Patten (Salford City Reds - Super League), Brett Kimmorley (Retired), Blake Green (Hull Kingston Rovers - Super League).

Ben Hannant, 25, prop (Canterbury-Bankstown):
The Origin prop returns to the club where he made his name. At 25, Hannant's best football is still to come, making him a timely recruit for Brisbane...

hannant will have to prove himself now, no more faking injury and wanting out on the club, spent to much time listning to money hungry petro

Done

We should win, we did recruit very well. I cant waaaiiiiittttt, 2 months to go.

Of course there had to be at least one dufus who commented "All I have to say is, is how do Canterbury fit all these players under the salary cap??"

Patten, BK and Hannant out would have paid most of it.

We have more than made up for big Benny's departure, as well as bulking up we have bought smarter in the halves, the lack of creativity in the past should be be retified with this lot. Having Kimmorely in the coaching ranks will also be a bonus.
