[h=1]For sale: Best unsigned 16 NRL players ahead of season 2016[/h]<b style="max-width: 100%; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 20px; line-height: 30px; font-style: italic;">This week on the Market Watch podcast Cowboys general manager of football Peter Parr joins Brett Kimmorley, Ben Glover and Nathan Ryan for all the grand final wash up and a look ahead to the health of every roster for 2016.Kirisome Auva’a
The 23-year-old claimed a premiership with South Sydney in his rookie season last year but his career was stalled thanks to an off-field incident.
Suspended by the NRL for nine months, the Samoan speedster returned to the NRL in round 23 and featured in five games this season.
While a contract hasn’t been signed, the Rabbitohs are keen on retaining Auva’a and negotiating a new deal with his management.

Beau Falloon in action. Source: News Corp Australia

Beau Falloon
The hooker may have had charges of supplying cocaine thrown out of court but he looks long odds to continue his career in the NRL.
The Titans are not interested in re-signing him, with Nathan Friend, Kierran Moseley, Matt Srama and Daniel Mortimer already under contract for 2016.
After eight seasons in the NRL, Falloon’s likely home sits in England. He has recently been linked with Super League club Leeds.

Dene Halatau
He may be 32 but Halatau can still go.
A Mr Fix It for the Wests Tigers and Canterbury during his 13-year NRL career, Halatau is in talks with the Tigers to strike a new deal.
With 226 games to his name, the former Kiwi international is one of the most experienced players in the game.

Anthony Tupou
While Tupou hasn’t penned a new deal with Cronulla, Shane Flanagan has included the 31-year-old in his plans for next season.
It’s been a difficult season for the former Test forward, who suffered a horrific facial injury which left him with a shattered jaw.
After having 16 screws and four metal plates inserted, Tupou still managed to make 16 appearances this year despite missing 12 weeks of the season.
All that’s left is for Tupou and the Sharks to nut out a new deal.

Willie Mason in action. Source: News Corp Australia

Willie Mason
At 35, the journeyman can still match it with the best of them.
Eager to continue his career in the NRL, Mason hasn’t been picked back up by Manly for 2016.
Having enjoyed stints with the Bulldogs, Roosters, Cowboys, Knight and Sea Eagles, the 2004 Clive Churchill medal winner is most likely to head to England.
Mason made a brief appearance for Hull KR in 2011, with the Super League the likely place where the forward will finish his career.

Isaac John
The 26-year-old playmaker has spent three seasons with Penrith, but his time has come to an end.
While John has been linked with a move to Manly, a deal is yet to be announced, leaving the halfback in limbo.
Starting his career with the Warriors in 2009, John has 35 NRL games to his name and
made his Test debut for New Zealand last year.
John looms as a handy pick up for any club needing depth in the halves.

Willis Meehan
One of the most promising youngsters on the market, Meehan had his contract with the Roosters torn up earlier this year for an alcohol-related incident.
A former Australian Schoolboy, Meehan is also one of Australia’s most promising young heavyweight boxers and will fight on the undercard of his father Kali’s fight against Joseph Parker next week.
The 20-year-old man mountain has been spending his time away from the game wisely, training in the gym for a possible NRL return in 2016.

Joey Leilua in action. Source: News Corp Australia

Joey Leilua
He was granted a release from his contract with Newcastle mid-year and joined Canberra on a deal for the 2015 season.
Now the year is over, Leilua and the Raiders are negotiating a longer term contract which should tie him to the club until at least the end of 2017.

Adam Docker
It’s been a tough old year for the Penrith forward who remains in limbo after a difficult season with injury and suspension.
On the cusp of making his Test debut for Australia in 2014, a run of concussions and a chronic knee injury has made things tough for the 24-year-old.
The backrower played just one game in first grade this year but he has a one-year offer from the Dragons on the table.

Damien Cook
What a talent. Poking his head into Canterbury’s NRL side thanks to an injury to hooker Michael Lichaa, Cook has shown he is a genuine first grader.
The 24-year-old scored four tries in five games this year.
Cook’s expected to sign with South Sydney on a two-year deal.

William Hopoate playing Origin.Source: News Corp Australia

Will Hopoate
The NSW Origin centre is on the market, with his Parramatta contract saga before the courts.
Hopoate’s management believe the deal should be honoured, however his contract was never registered with the NRL as it would tip the Eels over the salary cap.
Commanding upwards of $700,000 a season, the 23-year-old is short of options.
While Hopoate has been linked with the Storm, Sea Eagles and Bulldogs it would be near impossible for these clubs to meet his asking price.

Richie Kennar
At 20, the Melbourne flyer is one of the more exciting players coming out of the Holden Cup.
Making his NRL debut for the Storm this year, Kennar made six appearances in the top grade.
A centre-winger, the local product is a former Australian Schoolboys star.

Yet to secure a new deal, a number of clubs have shown interest in Kennar, including the Titans, but he looks most likely to stay in Victoria next season.

Joel Reddy
The 30-year-old centre has 11 years of experience to his name but is without an NRL deal for next year, meaning Reddy’s time could be up.
Making 13 appearances for the Rabbitohs this year, the former Tiger and Eel has played over 130 NRL games.
Not being offered a new deal by the Rabbitohs, Reddy may have to finish his career in England.

Glen Buttriss in action. Source: News Corp Australia

Glen Buttriss
The veteran Canberra hooker looks likely to end up in England after the Raiders snared unwanted Newcastle rake Adam Clydsdale for the next two seasons.
Buttriss, 30, has been linked with Leeds, who are in the market for a hooker.

Daniel Vidot
WWE, rugby or NRL — Vidot isn’t short of options.
The former winger has been linked with a move to rugby, reportedly receiving a deal from the Queensland Reds, but first the 25-year-old will head to Florida for a tryout with WWE.
A former Raider, Dragon and Bronco, Vidot has over 100 NRL games to his name.

Samisoni Langi
A Tongan international, the 22-year-old utility half is unlikely to remain with the Roosters next year.
Able to play lock, centre, back row and in the halves, Langi provides plenty of versatility.
The Auburn junior has played three games in the NRL, making his debut back in 2013

Glen Butriss was best man at a friends wedding a couple of years ago..I got blind and keep saying shit like 'great service from dummy half' whenever he passed me a beer. I don't think he liked me too much.

Noting on that list is worth signing. I'd have Hoppa, but not at the ridiculous price he'd be asking.

Cheyse Blair got a contract, so there clearly is a market for comedy defensive liabilities.

Kirisome Auva’a - GiveHerSome or BashBash is surplus to Souths unlimited salary cap team. With:

WING:
Goodwin - Wing / Centre
Inglis - Wing / Centre / Fullback
Johnston - Wing / Fullback
Oldfield - Wing / Centre

CENTRE:
Gray - Centre
Goodwin - Wing / Centre
Inglis - Wing / Centre / Fullback
Oldfield - Wing / Centre
Walker - Centre / Fullback

FULLBACK:
Inglis - Wing / Centre / Fullback
Johnston - Wing / Fullback
Walker - Centre / Fullback

aka
1. Inglis
2. Johnston
3. Walker
4. Gray
5. Goodwin / Oldfield

There isn't a spot for him.

Beau Falloon - I *really* don't rate this bloke. Never have. 85 games and 9 tries for a hooker is sad.

Dene Halatau - Still offers great value to a side, but injury concerns may be a problem.

Anthony Tupou - Probably a handy pickup for a club with spare change.

Willie Mason - Not sure he really offers much anymore.

Isaac John - Average .. Panthers Ben Roberts clone.

Willis Meehan - A good prospect, but with an insistence on a boxing and football career, might be a liability to some clubs. His suspect past doesn't help either.

Joey Leilua - Starting to get on now, and been average for a few seasons. Plus has shit hair.

Adam Docker - Average.

Damien Cook - Already snapped up by Souffs.

Will Hopoate - Parra broke him. Any club signing him will want a 12 months warranty against faulty goods, and a 12 month refund policy to come with him.

Richie Kennar - Surplus at Storm (because they buy everyone elses backs). Not a bad buy if clubs are looking at the Maccas loose change menu.

Joel Reddy - LOL The Nathan Hindmarsh of Souths. How he is still playing I don't know.

Glen Buttriss - See Beau Falloon.

Daniel Vidot - See Krisnan Inu. Rocks and Diamonds.

Samisoni Langi - Ex Bulldog. Unremarkable.

I wouldn't mind Isaac John as a depth signing - he is happy playing in reserve grade and has had enough first grade experience to do a decent job as injury cover.

The other depth signing we should look at is Clint Gutherson - just released by Manly he should some promise in the couple of first grade games he has played and was very good in the juniors/lower grades

So the Bulldogs have just developed their second straight starting hooker....you're ****ing welcome.

If you think Auva'a would not be in the starting backline with Inglis, Walker, Johnston and Gray you are on crack. Oldfield is depth. Far from keeping him out. Throw in Goodwin. Both depth. It's why you and I both want us to sign him not Goodwin or Oldfield...

God I hopt not Raysie.

When Au'ava and others are available, if we buy Hoppa, our recruitment guys must be a crack.

BJ Leilua would be handy, always rated him highly, can find the line.
I don't think I could put up with that Blockhead (from Gumby) looking face, and that super shithouse hairdo, on a weekly basis.

I believe he's dumb as all **** too.

Ive been thinking the same. Des likes these type of boring reliable players that wont set the world on fire but will get the job done.
