I am no fan of Fittler, but agree that this is definitely a possibility. Gus is looking for "an experienced man" and he just doesn't get it that supporters DON'T want Fittler. We know that Fittler will not consider his career to be complete until he has won a Premership as coach, Gus luvs the guy and thinks that him being head coach will enable Bulldog to attract top line players ....

I think you’re right. Fittler said last year he’d like another crack at full time coaching and it would be a perfect fit as Gus and Freddy have know each other for a long time.

Seriously Fittler? Players are sentimental. Can ANYONE point to any affiliation that Fittler has or could have to the Dogs? Anyone? Crickets.........
THATS RIGHT.....Fittler played his final career game for the Roosters in the 2004 grand final loss to the Dogs. He's not bitter and twisted that he was denied a champions send off in his career ending game. No....not at all.
He'd fuck us over and enjoy doing it. Revenge is best served cold!!!
That's an emphatic NO to Fittler.

FFS... not this shit again. If Fittler ever becomes our coach, anyone associated with that decision would deserve to be sacked.
I don’t wish injury/illness on any player, but just quietly, Munster is a BIG out for QLD this week. If that helps NSW climb the mountain of winning an Origin decider in Brisneyland and it locks in Freddy’s Blues coaching future then hell, torn as he might be I reckon that’s a thought even @Bazildog might get behind :-).

I just get the feeling that no coach will be announced till after the season has finished. That's a good thing in my book. Focus is not on next year, but this year. The only signings we are making are just squad players, so it's not important who is coaching next year.

Jim Dymock is available, immediately.

Always a Bulldog
He was possibly my favorite Dog of all!
I believe he was employed as a defensive coach by the Tits which kind of confused me, i would have thought he was better suited as an attacking coach given his style of play
In saying that i haven't kept up with his various coaching positions post playing career
I feel he would be a great addition as a backroom/specialist staffing member.
His passing/work with J Smith and the other pigs at the time was exhilarating!!

Without upsetting any of you. It could end up like this, NSW win the series, he says after the game, this is my last year of coaching the State Side, he needs a new challenge and unfinished business is to coach full time and hopefully win a NRL Premiership. Plus Gus hasn’t stopped trying to woo me to Belmore so we can have a crack at it together.

Timing on this sort of scenario fits like a jigsaw piece. Personally I think whatever works with getting us back as premiership contenders - is a win win for all of us. Sure there are some haters out there, but if he was to coach and turn the tables on our winning mentality - the haters will start to forget what they hated him for.
