I have so many. However, here are a couple (there could be plenty!) from one of the movies that I think is comedy gold, Tropic Thunder. A movie were a group of actors making a war movie based on a character in the movie experience’s in the Vietnam War. They end up being in a real situation, unknown to them for a good part of the film.
This scene is with Robert Downey Jr, who is portraying a white Aussie method actor, who is playing a white man disguised as a black man. We find his character in an identity crisis where all his characters, from other movies, are merging.
This next scene is with
from the same movie, playing an obnoxious producer Les Grossman who is all about the bottom line. Here he is an upset with director and the excessive costs of the film.
insisted he’d only play the character if he hat fat hands and danced.*
Ps. No way would, in the world’s current sensitive climate, it be allowed to made.
*I put in a spoiler as some who have watched it didn’t realise it was this particular actor until they read the cast list.
@The_Chimpster you must a few!
