Congratulations to former Bulldog's captain Mick Ennis on making the Shark's team of the half century after only two years at the club..but gee what a couple of years.. His form was outstanding.. and by the end of his stay he helped deliver Cronulla's first premiership victory after 50 years of trying.. Well done! :-)

Ennis had a great season last year and was a solid first grader throughout his career. Well done on making the team, but his inclusion is more a reflection of the lack of quality players that the Sharks have had over the years. He played 2 solid seasons for a club at the backend of his career. What other hookers did they have to choose from?

Ennis played no where near as well at the dogs as he done for the Sharks. The biggest mistake is letting Hasler make his dud calls over and over again. The Sharks won the comp with 2 ex dogs in the spine and 2 halves that Des wasn't interested in signing when available.

First Cronulla hooker to win a comp - was always going to make it.

He only played 2 seasons in first grade, midway through 2001 (as a replacement for the injured David Peachy) and then in 2002.

The reason he didn't make the team is because they used him incorrectly. He played Five-eighth, Fullback, Halfback, Wing, and Hooker for them. He was only ever a Fullback, maybe Five-Eighth. Not the other positions.

amount of time spent there means anything considering maloney only played last season with the sharks. campbell did win the dally m with them and was a impressive player able of filling in multiple positions maybe the perfect utility to name on the bench

He made an impact in 2001 playing in multiple positions - and he won the Dally M as a result, yes. However he didn't make an impact in one certain position. In 2002 he was very ordinary.

Quality of list overall indicates why the sharks didn't win anything for 50 years.

So the perfect bench utility. Dally M for being the best player in the comp fulfilling that role. Using your rationale, kimmorley played how many games off the bench?
