on the new roosters memberships they are currently offering portraits of wing or mini, harrison, anasta, fitzgibbon and roberts is the other 1 i think all signed and a letter comes with it as well by the player you choose

i will ask you a question that i asked in another thread earlier on tonight

Do you reckon that Anasta, Maitua, Cross & Wing would have all been in line for rep jumpers with south sydney ?

All of these players have played some kind of representative football during there careers. Two of these players have represented the Kangaroos & Nsw and the other 2 have only played 'City' Representative football but Cross & Maitua are strong candidates to recieve a blues jumper this year.

well if souths had those players they would have been a better team.


anasta was a mistake to make rep teams. he made it more on reputation.


i think maitua and wing could have been rep players in any team


cross has played a lot of his career with some great players that have made him look good.




so probably 3/4 would have def turnned out the same

Cross has had a horror run of injuries and only in the past 2 seasons we have seen what he is really made of. They even said Cross had the option to go to Union but decided to stay with league in the end.

We only bought wing probably to save his career as it was in turmoil at souths. As the same to the Bulldogs with buying Anasta back in 2000.

Anasta hasn't been the brightest player in representative football only 1 solid year this year with Johns and the guidance of stuart as coach brought out some of his bag of tricks.

mate i reckon anasta will only play good for the chooks when ever it is pay day.


he seems to be the best player in the league leading up to contract time than go
Sh!thouse for the rest of the year.


so you should wait for your big signing to start to fire in 3 years when his contract is finishing.



i would say he will jeprodise more game than he will win.
