At the time plenty of people were against his signing. He wasn't getting great minutes at the roosters and it was off the bench. Time has proven those people right and that he wasn't what we needed at all. he just coasted along for the last years collecting a pay cheque.

I'm not so sure of that. Kas has ball skills. He would still only play limited minutes, but the damage he could do before half/full time with his body size would be amazing.

We were lacking the tools to get something out of Napa. Namely we weren't allowed to have trainers on field chase him with Tazers when he got the ball, so the biggest threat was the defence in front of him. Had it been legal for us to taze him for running at the defence like he was the balloon in balloon volleyball he might have played like an NRL quality forward.

I haven't heard Cronk speak since he retired, but having read snippets of articles about his opinions, he's not really offering anything much to discussions. This seems a bit like he's biased from possibly having played origin games with him and maybe a season at the Chooks.

Seeing as he likes sticking things up inside himself perhaps some sort of electronic device should have been inserted there & operated from the sideline. There's usually a way around these things.

Tony Williams won us a game playing half back, he at least earned some of the millions he stole from us.

While I admire that sentiment, I also think that his name should be used as a cautionary thing when looking at signings from now on. "are you sure this guy isn't a Napa?" type of thing should be asked before pulling the trigger on any signing.

Next year if we get a home semi final, Napa's face should appear up on the big screen just before kick off so that our supporters get angry and go crazy against the opposition.
