Cooper Cronk as Coach?

With the likes of Bellamy and Bennett ruling out a change of scenery to coach us at Belmore, why haven't we sounded out Cooper Cronk as a head coach?

All we've kept hearing is Trent Barrett is the next best of among the coaches available on the market but what does he really bring to the table that Cooper Cronk couldn't offer?

Not sure whether Cronk is coaching elsewhere but throw the cheque book at him and watch him develop our squad and demand success similar to what Bellamy would have..

Barrett isn't the option in my opinion and I'd even prefer bringing back Jim Dymock as a head coach then have Barrett at Belmore.

I doubt Cronk wants to be a head coach right now as he seems content in the media but we and every other club should be gauging his interest in being an assistant coach at the very least because he's one of the smartest minds in the game.

Cronk has a very smart footy brain and very dedicated and disciplined at what he does.

Any player that retires has to wait 5 years after before they can get into coaching hence why Michael Ennis name was thrown up before as assistant due to his 5 years ending next year.
