The poison chalice.
Surely you’d rule that out unless it was silly money you simply couldn’t decline.
Most coaches there will fail however long the Wests/Balmain factional infighting continues. The 3 NRL appointed directors were supposed to solve that but they haven’t improved. Risky move.
More of a Pandora’s box,”where a fool by experiencing trouble is made wise” The Tigers have a fantastic crop of 18-22 year olds courtesy of Adam Hartigan who was sacked buying Maguire 6 months grace. Sheens has offered Ciraldo a 5 year term with Sheens full support and mentorship, full backing from the Chair with no Board member involvement.
Noddy is showcasing his wares as the fallback should Mission Ciraldo fall down.

All due respect to Sheens, but he’s in his 70’s, comes from a different era and is yet another coach fired at Concord. And he doesn’t have the runs on the board that say Bennett does (at the same age). Though some might say the same about Gus (though he’s several years younger). If I’m Ciraldo there’s more risk than reward there to pry me from my current job. But that’s me, I just don’t see how the Tigers turn the corner.

I don't know...they are very tight lipped about the head coach

Why I know they have already signed a head NRL coach (before Baz was sacked), is because they are chasing assistant coaches along with specialised coaches (defensive, attacking, etc)

You first sign a head coach than all the support staff, and not the other way around
Incorrect. An experienced coach hires his own people.
I don't get how the persistent rumour on the street is Fittler and the word is Flanagan is no chance.
Ciraldo is Baz's mate so there's no f**ken way he'd replace Baz. He'd cut his hand off first. I don't he'd return Goulds phone calls.
Could be Toovey or Maguire. We need an experienced hard head not another rookie. Get Flanagan now before he's snapped up.
I predict the next team coached by Flanagan improves in leaps and bounds. He's ready to go.

Exactly, the only positive is Sheens is now in between the constantly waring factions . They may be able to sell that as a major difference to any potential coaches. Plus coaches have big egos, they have to it‘s a prerequisite for the job, so they may believe that they are better than those that have been there before.

Say Flanagan comes in does that mean we will have the fittest team in the league given the players would now have access to Peptides

Wonder what Patmore is doing these days. He was great reserve grade coach in the in the late 90's. Oh wait he is going to coach the women's team...

I don’t usually post stuff like this but I have a good mate connected to some NRL people ….apparently Ciraldo firming …he’s had a couple meetings with Gus and is impressed with the future outlook of our club and the roster going forward.

We are apparently willing to wait for him whether it’s 2024 but pushing for 2023 (Potter for further 12 months if required)

Just what I got told today, don’t shoot the messenger and take it as however you want

Kind Regards

Is this what Gus was referring to on 6 tackles?
Miller is already in the NRL so i don't think it's him. Gus was probably just talking shit.

so in other words ciraldo wants to come in once all the heavy lifting has been done and he’s got a clean cap and a few years of junior systems in place behind the club, so when he walks in and we do well for 2024 (which we will with or without him) he looks like the messiah?

Notice they either know Ennis has a coaching gig lined up next year or they take the piss frequently. Heard Benji deflect new coach tag that Cronk used in post match interview saying yeah Mick Ennis.

Has anyone heard any updates on coaches? Or assistants? All very quiet these days, no one on here claiming to have any inside info anymore
