Everyone is already sick of this year so was thinking what positional changes could we make to improve. If we make some key changes to the team will it improve our top 4 prospects.

Changes I think will help are similar to everyone else
9. Lichaa
7. Frawley
6. Reynolds
5. Lee
4. Hoppa
3. Morris
2. Morris
1. Mbye

With a massive shake up I would think our attack should dramatically improve.

Maybe some mid year signings may help.

Seriously just keep things the way they are except have Frawley at Halfback and Mbye on the bench as a utility.

Switch Hopoate for Lee in the Centres when he returns from injury and all of a sudden we have a more stable team in both Attack and Defense.

Basically what we have now with just a positional reshuffle.

Matt Frawley - half back
Moses Mbye - Intrust Super unless a centre or fullback position is available (injury etc)
Raymond Faitala-Mariner - starting second row
Greg Eastwood - lock
David Klemmer - front row
Aiden Tolman - no.17 on bench

If Hoppa is getting moved on this year there's no real point in playing him in first grade barring injuries. We aren't a premiership threat this year - may as well build for next season

From the first 5 rounds I ain't moving brenko for hoppa

Hoppa can go to the wing.

Frawley halfback, mbye 5-8 and ONLY for his goal kicking. Reynolds utility

@Dognacious do you think we're contenders this year or that we should retain Hoppa?

Based on the past Hasler sets up his structures, trains for it in the off season and that's the way it is for the year.

I doubt you'll see a massive shake up, this is a coach who didn't have a plan B during the 2012 grand final and stuck to the original plan.

Bottom 4 (of the 8) is more of a realistic target given Frawley is bestowed a permanent spot in our 13.

The lineup will hardly change all season, only when an injury forces his hand will you see something different. Otherwise, revert to our round 1 team and that is pretty much what it will be. Everyone here should know this, this is how des always operates and clearly the guy is incapable of change.

Surely you jest. The Bulldogs have Buckley's chance of making the top 4 & despite a relatively soft draw, only a 33% hope of playing finals. The next 3 weeks are all must win matches. If they can get to 5-3 which is what i predicted in an earlier thread 3 weeks ago, a finals position is a possibility.
