@04 Dreaming did you watch the Sailor and Woods thing on Triple M about all the signings? There is no strategy to what were doing. Unless u consider letting go of our best young talent and investing fortune in outside backs, edge forwards and mediocre utilities aged mid-late 20s a strategy?
Havent seen that triple m chat. Got a link mate?@04 Dreaming did you watch the Sailor and Woods thing on Triple M about all the signings?
Let me add to all this. Of all the signings we’ve made for next year including Tracey they’re all players not wanted by their previous clubs only exception Crichton and we’ve rolled a massive risk on Xerri. Not one other club was interested we sign him too 30 for two years. We even botched up SST and Twal who weren’t wanted.
We decide to sign new players and re sign exisiting players only for a year later decide to flick them or attempt to flick them any way possible. They failed with RFM. Davey, Clarke, Reynolds and Brown didn’t even last the season. Quail Ward was done less than 6 months into a 1.5 year deal. These are fatal mistakes not just 1 or 2 here and there. It adds up on the salary cap and also playing stability within a club. There seem to be no connection. It hurts.
We are better off just investing in what we have and just recruit the key moments. Brisbane done this. They weeded out Lodge, TPJ, Gamble and Oloapu and only signed Reynolds. Capewell, Taupau and Walsh. They identified a lack of leadership so signed 3 leaders. And snapped up an X Factor talent. Just small changes.
Sele knocked us back too.Havent seen that triple m chat. Got a link mate?
Toalltty agree on all points. Re twal that is the one that really got me concerned. We had more Money offered on the table for a one dimensional forward entering the twilight of his career and he knocked us back. Perhaps in fear that after 6 months of his contract we are looking to brutally move him on?
Love how you can have a conversation with yourselfSele knocked us back too.

The DT has linked us with every player who hasn't signed a contract renewal.More utilities than a monopoly board game…. But coming from the DT, take it with a grain of salt… super odd recruit if true but he’s a talent, just not what we need right now.
Middles please
It’s pathetic mate and ruining a very good forum … just hit ignore … when no one reply’s to all his accounts and comments he’ll move on and troll on another site ..Love how you can have a conversation with yourself
It didn't mention anything about Sele knocking us back.Love how you can have a conversation with yourself
You could have a point here. Season 2024 might become a season of 26 trial games for the dogs as CC shuffles players around and tries them in different positions. So talk of Burton to Fullback, Critchon to Fullback, Kiraz to Fullback. I mean its nice to see how players perform in the offseason. But what sort of development will you actually get with players learning set plays and defensive patterns in multiple positions. If we needed a fullback we should have gone after a fullback, or if we needed a centre or half or 5/8 recruit that position. Buying all these players and see how they perform over the offseason and who demands selection is a worry. Happened with Perham last year and that was a epic failure. And Averillo ended the season at fullback.
Not sure if this guy is any good, and at best is a back up fullback or outside back so in the same boat as Taafee.
least they aren't in charge of the club otherwise we'll be in a bigger holeMan this place is out of control. The lunatics are running the asylum
It’s just easier to say Gus > Bad mate. This is good buy if it happens, if it does happen the same old cocksuckers will whinge he isn’t a forward and if he doesn’t end up here it’ll be Gus missed another one blah blah blah but the fact remains we are replacing reserve graders with NRL players. But it’s always entertaining to drop in and see the same fuck wits dribbling the usual shit and replying to and liking their own posts.
That’s because we literally chase every off contract and even contracted playersThe DT has linked us with every player who hasn't signed a contract renewal.
Becoming as predictable as the rest of the fake news the paper runs.
Best thing I did!Yeah I am blocking the 4 coc%he%ds Flanagun, 04 dreaming, Polly Power and The Sex Dogs.
I seriously don't need the constant negativity.
He did thoIt didn't mention anything about Sele knocking us back.
Plenty of info there for mods to ban the trolls if they want toMan this place is out of control. The lunatics are running the asylum
What is good about this signing exactly maroon dog? Dont just say its good and then attack other members. Tell us why its good. How will he improve our team? This is good buy if it happens, if it does happen the same old cocksuckers will whinge he isn’t a forward and if he doesn’t end up here it’ll be Gus missed another one blah blah blah but the fact remains we are replacing reserve graders with NRL players. Fuck off deadshit. What is good about this signing exactly maroon dog? Dont just say its good and then attack other members. Tell us why its good. How will he improve our team?
In my opinion he wont be a good buy. Hes 28 next year and never held down a spot in a first grade team. Hes slotted in wherever teams have been short with injuries and been just handy at best (and that has been at top 8 clubs)
