Wakeham should be as long as he's fit for NRL footy, his partner should be the one that's up for grabs. Hopefully all the pressure isn't on him and the rest of the spine has worked out how to do their bloody job.

Even if Pay can't recognise the better half, you'd expect Shifty to. He would see the better potential and strike power for the team in Wakeham and advance Brendon's claims you'd guestimate surely.
Pay has to take on Shifty's advice though and at the end of the day the buck stops with him in that regard.
Hopefully Shifty tells him to fuck off with the split halves crap and Wakeham can play more on the ball instead of spending all his time on an edge. Would also be nice if Shifty slapped Lewis every time he tossed the ball wide or inside to Tolman instead of looking short for our edge runners lol.
If we are asking for miracles we might as well as see if Shifty can give Lewis a running game too!
